Dystopian (Wild West) Exploration Vehicle
Assignment:
I had to design concept art for a Dystopian vehicle. This again was given at random in class and had to be created by first making five 3D Blockouts along with a
Paint-over over the favorite one of the 3D designs.
The Story:
Humanity was exploring the universe and one of their exploration ships crash landed upon a desert (Tatooine) like planet. The ship was still functional it couldn't fly them off planet. So they cannibalized the ship to construct exploration vehicles, to explore their new home and roam freely.

the front grill is designed in the image of the cowcatchers you see in front of the old west style locomotives, to pouch rubble and creature out of its way, this concept is the same for the Iron Horse Mark 3, and to punch through stuff it need be.
The texture shows that this beast of a machine has been through a lot, which serves to show the purpose of "reliable", and the bags show that it is used for long expedition around the planet.
the 2 side Exhaust pipes serve the purpose of keeping the Iron Horse above the ground and the 2 small afterburners in the back for repulsion, and finally the big one is for a speed boost. the saddle is for the wild west vibes.
For my exploration vehicle I chose a hover motorcycle. This idea was inspired by various forms of media: by the hover bikes in star wars, the bikes in Wild West Exodus, the Sparrow from Destiney. The blockouts were made in Blender
